PEAKE Quality Management System receives ISO 9001:2008 certification from NQA Registrar (CB)
Stevensville, MD – January 11, 2016 – PEAKE, a leading integrator of technology and vehicular solutions for mission-focused operations, is pleased to announcethat it has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification for their Quality Management System.
ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, is the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards. ISO international standards promote the internal processes necessary to deliver products and services that are safe, reliable and of good quality. ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization:
- Needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and
- Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
PEAKE partnered with NQA, a Registrar (CB) with a global presence, for its certification to the ISO 9001:2008 standard. NQA provided a thorough review of PEAKE’s quality management system, spending more than 40 hours on site reviewing company processes and procedures to ensure that PEAKE is capable of consistently delivering products and services that meet customers’ needs and expectations in accordance with ISO’s rigorous standards.
