U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will utilize Tactical-IP Satellite Service for field operations
PEAKE has recently renewed a satellite service contract with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency. PEAKE will continue to provide the agency with reliable service that gives access to data, voice, and video communications, regardless of infrastructure capability.
TACTICAL-IP Responder PLUS provides a robust throughput up to 20 Mbps x 5 Mbps Ku-Band bandwidth with 10 On-Air days per month. This service includes Dual-Look Satellite Diversity as a standard.
ICE will continue to utilize PEAKE’s Tactical-IP VSAT service on several mobile command vehicles deployed across the United States. Tactical-IP service gives ICE MCV’s the communication capability needed to operate in the field.
ICE will also take advantage of PEAKE’s PRO-Support service. PRO Support provides end-users with the highest level of technical assistance, including direct access to our experienced, certified systems engineers. As a Level 2 subscriber, ICE will receive PEAKE’s modem “Spare in the Air” service. If ICE experiences problems with any iDirect Evolution series modems, Level 2 service guarantees a new, configured modem sent overnight, free of charge
ICE consists of three directorates to accomplish the agency’s mission, including Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) and Management and Administration (M&A).
