On Friday April 4th, PEAKE hosted an Open House Technology Day at our facility in Stevensville, MD. Our goal for the day was to bring together both regional agencies and vendors, to show new and innovative technology.
Overall, the day was very successful. The turnout of attendees and vendors was excellent and the technology solutions that were demonstrated were innovative and relevant to our customers and to the attendees. PEAKE was impressed with our partner vendors and the products they brought to show.
The following vendors were at the Open House demonstrating their latest technologies: Cisco, Integral Marketing, AQYR Technologies, MSM Public Safety, Extron, Network Innovations, and UAV Field Services Inc.
A team from Cisco was on-site showing the latest in Cisco networking and video equipment. MSM Public Safety brought in their demo Tahoe displaying NOPTIC thermal imaging technology. AQYR Technologies was on-site demonstrating their ultra-portable TYPHOON auto-acquisition, Ku-Band satellite terminal.
Integral Marketing displayed the latest rack mount UPS power solution from Intellipower while Network Innovations was on-hand displaying several Mobile Satellite Handsets for Public Safety.
UAV Field Services Inc. showed a unique aerial imaging drone solution that was met with enthusiastic reaction from all of the attendees. One of the latest technologies available, the drone was flown over the rear of our facility taking aerial photographs and showing attendees different uses for the technology.
On top of vendor participation, we are thankful to those customer’s who brought their vehicles to PEAKE for display at the Open House. Anne Arundel County Police, Queen Anne’s County Police, Anne Arundel Fire Department, Annapolis Police, and Howard County Emergency Management were all on-site displaying several specialty and command vehicles either built or serviced by PEAKE.
We would like to thank all those who came out to our shop for the Open House for making it a successful day. Special thanks to the vendors and customers who brought their vehicles. And also thank you to Mission BBQ for providing us with another great BBQ lunch.
We look forward to hosting this event next year and hope to see even more attendees and vendors at PEAKE.
