STEVENSVILLE, MD (April 26, 2011)- PEAKE recently participated in the first annual Ocean City Maryland Emergency Services Command Rally in West Ocean City, MD.
The objective of the event, held by Ocean City Emergency Services, was to “bring together communications units, allied agencies and personnel that would be responding to Ocean City, Maryland for Hazardous Materials Incidents and all other potential All-Hazard Responses.” Several jurisdictions throughout the region, as well as the Red Cross, brought their command vehicles to participate in the exercise.
PEAKE was on location demonstrating the capabilities of several communication solutions including the PEAKE pCom® 355 and video surveillance solution AgileMesh. The PEAKE pCom 355 mobile infrastructure system is designed to supply essential on-scene communications, clean power, lighting, and storage for public safety communications, disaster recovery and continuity of operations. AgileMesh provides rapidly deployable wireless mesh-based incident area networks (“IANs”) that have a particular focus on delivering video surveillance to enhance command and control.
